Arc’teryx Quality Isn’t Matching The Prestige
This is now the second Beta AR jacket I’ve had to retire because of delamination in the Gore-Tex layers. For a brand that prides itself on premium quality and durability, having a jacket fail in six years is incredibly disappointing. The Re-Bird credit also felt disappointing, “Here’s a token amount for a defective product, but that’s all you’ll get since a previous product already failed you”. Overall, the experience has left me frustrated and disappointed with the durability and the support provided. I expected better from Arc’teryx.

Disappointed Waterproof
It’s a good jacket but honestly I’ve used it twice and it’s let rain in both times. A little disappointing

No Water Resistance
After 10 minutes in heavy rain, I was completely soaked. I've used this jacket only three times, and from the first use, it was clear it offers no water resistance, despite being marketed as suitable for such conditions. It seems designed solely for wind protection. I own other jackets at a quarter of the price that handle water far better. I'm very disappointed with this product.

Happy With This Jacket!
Bought this jacket to replace my 20 year old Theta. Same quality (and I hope durability), but much lighter. I went back and forth between this and the beta sl. Ultimately, I like the durable feel of the GT pro without being too “crunchy” or stiff.

Travel Friendly.great Features And Color.
The Beta AR is for regular use, especially that it is a year round use Product.Most frequently used, when it is rainy or snowy weather.I love it because it is well made,packable and the color is amazing.I get noticed and complimented when I wear it.I had the older one for almost 12 years and I am very grateful that I was given a Replacement, after the first one was near the end of its useful life.Thank you .
